...i used to live in buffalo, ny which is near the canadian border.
canadians get very cranky about comments like that (saying alanis is
canadian, or saying there's not much difference). it's like calling
a texan a yank - well, not exactly, you probably won't get shot in
the former case. in fact a cranky canadian is kind of hard to notice
i suppose. they just say please, pardon and thank you in angry tones.
