Hadn't checked the Big Cheese - last time I looked they only did smoked
habs. The Aisa Market does fresh or dried ones. I prefer non-smoked
chillies for asian cooking, lightly smoked for tex/mex.
I still rue the day that Cody's Emporium stopped selling their
habanero-cover pistachios.
If you like mexican, try some chipotole (sp?), great flavour, but won't
pin your masochometer in case that's what you prefer.
