i agree that we should abide by the law of the country but the problem with cannabis is that it will not just go away. We have to accept that Cannabis has been around for as long as Drink and tobacco. There are many possitive things that can come out of legalising the drug.
 
 - More revenue for the government.
 - Less people abusing alcohol.
 - Seen in Europe as a open and mature society.

Its going to happen whether you like it or not. :)
