Actually the way I here it, Tobaco and Alcohol do far more damage than
cannabis. Cannabis it's self actually has a lot of medicinel properties.
The damage from cannabis to health is by smoking it in a joint. There is
no filter in a joint so the tobaco is hitting your lungs with full force
where as if it went through the filter of a cigarette. So joints are
more harmful the normal filtered cigarettes but not becasue of the
cannabis.
And I seem to remember so facts about the real reason Cannabis was
banned. It was an action group setup by a/some large American paper
companies. They had invested heavily in land rights to forested area of
America and didn't want their investment foiled by new companies that
could make better paper cheaper by using Hemp. So they setout to tarnish
the name and lobbied the government to have it banned. They even
referred to it by it's mexican name "mariuana" to give it a lower class
feel, we all know how racist America is so this tactic would help
stigmatis it.
