Yeah, I remember that one, it was there since at least Solaris 2.0.

SAF (which hopefully isn't even there anymore) was this *HORRIFIC* AT&T
monstrosity that "real" SVR4 systems had.   It was an immense and
horrifically buggy piece of crap, which stored it's config in strange file
formats, and could only be manipulated or queried through obtuse command
lines with lots of obscure switches.  aargh, memories of pain...
