On that note, have you been sending confirmations to folk that
registered for the events ? I assume you haven't because I reged for the
pissup with no returning confirm. Its always reassuring to get that sort
of thing.

And there were no times mentioned for the events, and no formal location
for the saturday talks announced. I guess thats its in TCD because thats
where previous one have been, and because you just mentioned it there
in that mail. I can guess that it'll be somewhere in the same comp sci
building at other ones, but thats a tricky location to find for a first
time ilug searcher.

If someone is coming from wales on spec, how are they supposed to know
that is in TCD, and where that would be in Dublin, and where in TCD it
will be, and who and where they should pay for the other events. Nor is
there (known to me an anyway) event webpage on which details will be
posted when they become available. There appears to only be the two
distrowars emails mentioned on the linux.ie homepage to go by so far.

e.g. If someone wanted to go to the pissup alone, what time should they
present themselves at the brewing company?. If there isn't an obvious
horde of linux folk at the door, then is there an event registered at
the company under the ilug name, or a linux name, or a distrowars name
that they can inquire about to match up with people alread there, etc.

Am I missing some announcement somewhere.

C.
