It's expensive, and freaky. Basically, you get warm all over the room,
instead of hotspots near radiators. The pipes have to be laid when the
floor is being put in (or you can take up the carpets, and chisel channels
around the room - effort.
But, when it's cold, and you are walking around the house in your bare
feet, a warm floor is a joy to behold.
Of course, only weak people need heating.
