"nearly as much damage"? When was the last time you
saw some stoner and a bunch of his friends getting
all agressive in the street and beating people up
for no good reason? Happens a lot with alcohol
though. Alcohol is an awful drug in comparison to
cannabis.

Also, cannabis can be ingested so it's not
necessarily any worse than plain ole smoking either.
