The garbled reports I've read can be summerised as follows
two planes were hijacked and crashed into the World Trade centre two
towers. Both planes can carry about 100 people and the building sometimes
have up to 50,000 people in them.
A third plane was hijacked in Boston and is circling the tower. It's a
Boeing 767 and can carry up to 269 people.
There has been an explosion in the pentagon but is unconnected so far
Logan/JFK has been closed
FBI are investigating the hijackings. A palenstinian group claimed
responsibility but no one believes them and I can't find a news site with
the same information that works. I wouldnt' trust that part really.
