I understand the reasoning behind keeping ilug at linux.ie
open for newbies to post to, but social at linux.ie? It's not
a place for newbies to post looking for help at all - Do newbies
accidentally post to social looking for help much? Can't say I
remember it ever happening. They can be bounced back a newbie-friendly
messages saying "if you want help, mail ilug at linux.ie... If you're
a spammer, you're not a very nice person". :)
