I really like this idea on how to deal with spammers - (taken from a
slashdot post):

   I still like the idea I heard here before. Lock them in jail with a
computer. Give them an email account and send them vouchers for food via
email. Those vouchers will have changing email titles and will resemble
spam. Then sign that email account up for everything, post to newsgroups and
fail to opt-out in a few places. The guy has to fight through spam in order
to eat. Fair enough, I'd think.
