[ILUG-Social] Digital camera recommendations?

[ILUG-Social] Digital camera recommendations?

A peice of white card will do as a cheap altenative to a directable flash.
Just cut a small peice and hold it at a 45 degree angle to the flash
to re-direct/difuse the light.

Another thing I've notices is that most of the cheap to medium price range
camera's dont come with any sort of supplied carry case - so budget for
that as an extra.

Yea and double check for any delay between pressing the button and
the picture actually taking. Mine is very slow and its prevented me from
getting some really great spur of the moment/action pictures in the past.

Boots in Liffey Valley will print pictures on photo paper from compact flash
or smart media etc if you need that to be done.

G.
