I know this is a little (ok .. lightyears) off topic, but might make some
interesting discussion.
I've spec'ed lots of interesting things in the past, from servers to laser
parts, but I'm having great difficulty with two home appliances: Fidges and
Washing machines.
The only feature that seems to differenciate washing machines is their price
and the coolness of their consoles. I've found one with a really flashy
console (electroluminescent display with lots of buttons:
http://www.galway.net/tmp/washingmachine.jpg ) But what else should I look
out for? Auto-iron does not seem to feature on any of the models I've looked
at :(
Also anything I should look out for in fridges and electric ovens ?
I think I'll manage the toaster on my own :)
Joe.
