I'd like to see tax harmonisation in some areas, I'm very much opposed to
the EU being in charge of all taxation even though I'm very
pro-(Nice|Maastrict|EU).

Wrong - We weren't last year, nor for every year we were in the EU. I
don't think we'll be this year, though I do know that we were due to
move to be a contributor by 2003 or so - I don't know how much these
forcasts depended on continuing massive levels of growth though.
