Hello galway,
Tomorrow promises to be a fantastic new day -- The Dawn of a New
Desktop. We intend to celebrate the imminent release of GNOME version
2.0 with a party worthy of this birth.
Surely then, it is no mere coincidence that tomorrow also happens to
be a Friday? But wait, there's more! It's no ordinary Friday --
tomorrow is the Summer Solstice -- the magical time of year when the
Sun is at it's greatest distance from our celestial equator.
Therefore, it is on this day, when our life-giving solar system centre
is at it's zenith in the Tropic of Capricorn that we will raise our
glasses to GNOME.
Hope to see you all in Rabbitt's Independent Pub-State on Forster St.,
Galway tomorrow from approximately 20.30.
Cheers,
-Ross
