Does anyone recognise the original brand that Scan rebadged and sold as

I'm trying to get a universal remote control (http://www.oneforall.com/)
to work with it and their 6-speaker amp but without any luck. (rang the
one-for-all help-desk, 1800 number, very helpful.. I was amazed!)
A friend did think it might be the Denon 2500
(http://www.codefreedvd.com/dvd_denon_2500.htm) but the codes for that
didn't work. :(
So, if you've any info, don't keep it to yourself!
