They're ok. They've played most of the DVD's I tried (not many) but it
had slight problems with the fires at the start of "Saving Private Ryan"
- the fire would stretch up to the top and wrap around the bottom of the
screen.
It also had problems when I tried to play "The Thing" last night. It
stopped/started/hopped a bit, I think because the DVD is dual-layer.
It plays MP3s, doesn't support VBR but it played all the tracks I threw
at it, although doesn't have random play AFAICT.
It's not bad, but given the price of Sterling it might be worth looking
closer to home first.
oh yeah, horrible sound from it when I tried to play "The Thing"..
