weren't the pubs almost all open last year...being the first year the ban
was lifted ?

that would also be true here. it would be inconsitant to do otherwise.
i worked in a late night store and we locked the wine cabinet at night,
off licenses have to go by the same licensing hours as public houses and
resteraunts.
I really must go to the pub, have to do some drinking today or else i will
have an irrational need to drink tomorrow.
