[ILUG-SOCIAL] solaris help

Greg Farrell greg at netsoc.tcd.ie

As this really can't be claimed to be linux related, I thought I'd ask here.

I'm trying to debug a process on a solaris 8 box (we also use it on linux ;),
it may fail under high load, so I'm absoilutely hammering it. However when
it dumps core it's always with a signal 9. So I'm guessing that solaris
is killing it for being a naughty cpu hogging beast.

I've checked ulimit's, and cpu and memory usage are unlimited. Any ideas on
where to look? Or am I probably on the wrong track?
   Greg
