Would anyone have any use at all for an old Sony BetaMax Video player?
That's right i said BetaMax, the machine is probably as old as I am
(actually it was probably from the early eighties). . Until recently it
barely worked, allowing us to tune in an extra 12 channels our old tv, but
one day it just stopped working and we have since bought a new TV. No
attempt has been made to fix it. I dont think it has been able to play
videos for years but i think we still have a box of betamax tapes,
inlcuding a Rocky movie (IV it think) lying around.
It is probably only of historical value. Maybe someone might use it as
the basis for a case-mod or something, I dunno. In the unlikely event
anyone (in the Dublin area) is interested please contact me soon, i think
i will be forced to throw it out on Monday (20-01-2003).
Sincerely
Alan Horkan
