[Webdev] WebDAV

[Webdev] WebDAV

WebDAV has been released as a module for Apache.

http://www.webdav.org/mod_dav/

In a nutshell, and really, *really* simplified: WebDAV is CVS for websites,
implemented as a protocol (an extension of HTTP/1.1).

If you run your web development business the way it should be - on the
Internet - or you're a freelancer teleworking for an agency that operates this
way, you should look into WebDAV.

Read the final paragraph in the press release for a better description. And then
the FAQ. And then RFC 2518.

And no, I haven't used it yet. I've just been watching it very closely. NEXT
week I'll be using it... :)
