[Webdev] Cross-platform: PHP, ASP, Perl ?

[Webdev] Cross-platform: PHP, ASP, Perl ?

I want to knock together a prototype info-sharing thing - I'm using NT w/PWS
in work, and Linux/Apache at home, want to develop on both, with a view to
sticking the final fit onto a linux box.

My question: I know Perl will work on both, but ASP is easier in Windows,
especially for DB stuff. PHP is easier than Perl for DB stuff, but I don't
know if it's available for PWS.

What do you think is the best path??
