hi,
Just wondering if anyone has some advice on searchengines.
Methinks it's about time the search.cgi that www.linux.ie uses
for /search.html is way to slow and that it's time to
move on to something that relies on an updated index file /db
I think the replacement should be one that works more
like a 'web-bot' for following links rather than looking at all
files with exceptions to the files that it shouldn't look at
(the directories contain template and prototype .html files).
Does anybody have recommendations about this sort of thing?
thanks
Ken
