[Webdev] PHP & SOAP

[Webdev] PHP & SOAP

Bleedin' edge here.. :)
We're looking into using SOAP in an up-coming project and of course the
issue of PHP support of said protocol has arisen.

Has anyone used a SOAP server with PHP? Searching google.com showed
quite an interest in producing one but none in production or even being
worked on. :(

Then I had a mad idea, I don't even know if it'll work!
Compile PHP with Java support, use the Apache SOAP server written in
Java, and by magic call the Java methods and access Java variables from
PHP .. I'll wake up eventually!
Could also put a SOAP server in front of our server farm and get it to
translate SOAP calls to XML-RPC or straight URL calls to PHP scripts on
the webservers.

So much to do..

Donncha.
