[Webdev] mysql replication

[Webdev] mysql replication

Donncha O Caoimh donncha.ocaoimh at tradesignals.com
Fri Sep 15 15:01:57 IST 2000

Two database servers/machines, A and B. Any writes/updates to A also
happen to B, magically!
It's fairly easy to setup and we had stock market information streaming
into db A for a few minutes and it seemed to be propogated into db B no
problem.

There is one outstanding (known) bug for which there's a patch available
but that'll be cleared up for 3.23.25. I think it had something to do
with INSERT DELAYED so keep away from them for a while.

Donncha.
