I'm trying to sort two IPs in PHP, and it's refusing to cooperate.
First off, I tryed to do an ip2long and compare numbers. of course, for
IPs like 172.24.1.23 you get negative numbers. And you can't tell PHP
"That's an unsigned number".
So, you are supposed to use printf. Only I don't think I can. When I do;
printf("Four is %d <br>\n", -4);
I get;
Four is -4
When I do
printf("Four is %u <br>\n", -4);
I get;
Four is
So, the %u is getting ignored. I'm on PHP/4.0.5 - anyone know if this is
my installation, or a PHP bug..
