It's not quite as simple as that, but yes, it can be done. That's what we do 
at go2web. [ http://www.go2.ie ]

We discovered, though, that customers don't really want to edit their own 
sites. They email us the changes. But it makes it very easy and fast for the 
sales people to edit the sites :)
