In what way do you use <acronym> that makes it useful in an application ?
Yes, I can see that it can be useful for speaking browsers etc. but I don't
see how it's all that great for applications - I suppose if you have a page
of labels and figures then it might be useful to use it to provide a
floating explanation for the label. I've onlyu looked at <acronym> with
Konqueror and IE5 and they both provide floating labels when you hover an
<acronym> item but that behaviour is not part of the recommendation. Or
perhaps you find it useful for some entirely different reason ?
