[ILUG-Webdev] websafe colour patterns

[ILUG-Webdev] websafe colour patterns

I couldn't find the exact page, but there's some interesting stuff on google:
http://www.google.com/search?q=web+safe+colors+javascript+picker
Feedster has some good links:
http://www.feedster.com/search.php?searchtype=image&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&q=choose+color+javascript&btnG=Search&sort=date&inrss=&inrssid=
http://www.meyerweb.com/eric/tools/color-blend/

But are the 216 safe colours required these days? Does anyone browse in 256
colours any more? (unless you've a new install of Windows and can't find a
driver .. )

Donncha.
