The Irish Linux User Group is presenting a number of 'Tech Talks' in the coming months. Entry is free and gratis and after the formal talks the technical discussion generally continues informally.
The next ILUG Tech Talks are Thursday 14th April, starting
at 6:00pm (first talk at 6:15pm!) There's plenty of space if you want to
come along and entry is free and gratis - though you should bring your
own 9V battery.
What: ILUG Talks,
- "Something about FUSE *cough*" : John Barrett (DIAS)
- "Squishy Circuits" : Tríona O'Connell (DCU)
- "Demonware: using Open Source to allow gamers shoot each other in
the face" : Arthur Green (Demonware)
Where: Tech Talk area (room Kelvin) in the Google Engineering building at 1 Grand Canal Plaza, not in Gordon House on Barrow Street. It's the placemark on this map : http://goo.gl/ZGASA
When: 6:00pm for a 6:15pm start, Thursday 14th April, until ~8:30pm
Who: All welcome.
Responses welcome to talks-at-ilug-dot-ie, just so I can get an idea of numbers. Please feel free to come along even if you have not let me know in advance.
Also, I'm quite serious about the 9V battery. Do bring a charged 9V battery for some monstrous entertainment at the event.
