Dell switches internal servers to Linux

Dell Computer has switched 14 of its internal servers from Sun Microsystems machines to its own systems running Linux and a new version of Oracle's database software, Chief Information Officer Randy Mott said Thursday.

Workspot is an online Linux desktop. You go there in any browser (java-enabled is better), login, and start up Red Hat Linux within that browser. It is so cool, I really want it to be something that people go for. I want it to succeed.

An explolit for the Linux mpg123 mp3 player has started circulating, following the release of the code for the same by the Gobbles security group. Anti-virus software maker Symantec has christened it as Trojan.Linux.JBellz.
