The AGM was a great success - the room in the ICS building was packed There were six talks on subjects as wide and as varied as Ciarán O'Riordan of FSFE who spoke about his work in Brussels, we also had a piece on Access To Knowledge, Digital Rights Ireland, Apache 2.2 - the upcoming release and some of the really cool things that will be in there, Ruby on Rails, RPC on Linux, and a very interesting piece on the adoption of alternative software in organisations.
This was followed by a large grouping heading to the Schoolhouse where they were fed and watered.
The committee was re-elected with Noirin Plunkett stepping down due to not being available for the forth-coming year, and the appointment of James McCarthy in the role of Secretary.
