Well, the "standard" trick is to put "ad.doubleclick.net 127.0.0.1" in
your /etc/hosts, and make sure you have "files" before "dns" in your
nsswitch.conf's "hosts" entry.

OTOH, my girlfriend works for DoubleClick, so I can't possibly recommend
something like this.
