# Subject: [ILUG] Linux Box for mini-LAN
# --------------
# I want to get a 2 or 3 boxes to run linux on it's own, and
# hook up to NT
# (just for the craic). I've seen 486 -dx2's for around £150
# mark. Would
# these do the job? Plus would SUSE or Red Hat be better (I have both,
# 5.2). I know RH is easier to install but that is not an issue. Cheers,
The DX2s should do the job fine - heck RH & SuSE work fine [!] on a
40MHz DX (I should know - I'm referring to my linux box, 'Edge').
Personally, I'd go for RedHat, but SuSE should run ok.
