The best place for Linux info at the kernel level is the Linux Kernel book
from the LDP ( http://ldp.csn.ul.ie if the virtual mirrors stuff is fixed
yet ), or http://metalab.unc.edu/LDP/ , there are also the programmers
guide which should give enough info about system calls ...
