Hi, I have been reading about programming the serial port in the
Serial-Programming-HOWTO, and I couldn't seem to find any reference to
controlling individual lines on the serial port.
Is there any way, for example, to assert the RTS pin on the serial port
permanently? I presume I would have to use it in a binary mode, and
write actual bytes out to the port myself? Or is there an easy way to do
this?
By the way, I oined this mailing list, but how does somone actually join
the ILUG?
Cheers,
Phil Trickett
