I'm not totally sure, never having really used disk druid, but I'd say
it's probably something to do with the fact that your 4 2Gb partitions are
probably living inside an extended DOS partition. Maybe disk druid can't
pick up on these, and is just seeing the extended partition. Take a look
at fdisk in DOS to see if this is the way the m/c is set up.

This could be happening because you're trying to use space above the 8Gb
watermark to put / on. AFAIK, the root partition always has to be below
the 1024th block on the HD (I'm sure someone'll correct me on this tho'),
which normally translates to 8Gb. If you look at the 'disk space used/disk
space free' vals in disk druid, you'll probably see they add up to around
8Gb.

Use the 1st 2Gb partition. Might mean a bit of fecking around with the
partition table to get it there, though.
