Funny that... I was just checking these things out today. HP's DAT24
claims to get 7.2GB/hour. I can't remember if that's with or without
compression. Probably with, because all their other figures are quoted
as with compression.
I currently do 11 hours of backup to DDS/1 every day. A DDS/3 drive
would bring that down to less than 2 hours. I fact, my 10Mb ethernet
could become the bottleneck :-)
What worries me is that I'm salivating about backups... That's not
good!
