No Idea about your PDC (try smbclient and see what that gives), but there
are a few things you can do.
First is to set password server to the server you want to use (use whatever
you map to on the network :)), and set security = server.
Second is to read the docs about NT-DOM, and use smbpasswd to become a member
of the domain (better security, but you need the NT admin to add the machine),
and then use security = domain.
Also, if the users in the NT domain don't have the same usernames as on the linux box, you'll want to make a map file.
