Hehehehe. Yup.
There is a bug (either in the Dell BIOS, or possibly in the kernel, though
I spent an afternoon looking at APM code and it doesn't seem to have
anything to do with it), that powers off the sound chp after a few minutes
of playing. Turn off APM in the BIOS & all will be well...
