I am now running it.. who's idea was the [ OK ] or failed things :)
things to do if you're writing a cd from the ftp images, make _sure_ that
your ls -lR is the same (check executable bits) otherwise the iso
image won't be worth it.
I don't have a link to the page where I found this (search the list archives
on redhat) but this command for the bootable cd worked:
mkisofs -b images/boot.img -c misc/boot/boot.cat -a \
-A "Redhat Linux 6.0" -d -L -N \
-o /tmp/rh6.0.iso -P "lbedford" -p "lbedford" -r \
-T -V "RHLinux6.0" -v /path/to/redhat/i386/dir
