except perhaps uncomment one of the following lines from /etc/inetd.conf
#pop-3 stream tcp nowait root /usr/sbin/tcpd ipop3d
imap stream tcp nowait root /usr/sbin/tcpd imapd
Imap tends to be turned off by default on Redhat, but pop will work
outta the box
If you're feeling realy lazy & don't want to do this at all you can just
use Netscape's Movemail fanjango
it's one of the server types along with pop & imap which you can select
from within your mail preferences.
Having said that Kenn's Suggestion is probably better as you will have
the advantage of "better" logs if something screws up. yada yada yada
