The VGA16 driver and SVGA driver running at 320x200 should work on all
register-level VGA compatible chipsets and that covers 95% of those on
the market. SiS is in the unfortunate 5%.

However if you upgrade to XFree86-3.3.3.1 you should be able to get
direct support for your chipset. If you're on RedHat, you can download
handy RPM upgrade files from their updates directory. Or you could
upgrade to RedHat 6.0 which ships with the latest XFree86.
