I'd advise against Trust if you're going external. I bought an external
Trust in Dublin and couldn't get it to work reliably with Linux. Looked very
like an IRQ/handshaking problem, but turned out, after _much_ hair pulling,
to be the TA. It's a problem (several refs on deja) with the chipset used in
Trust and other brand external TAs.
I ended up bringing it back, bought an ASUS ext with 2xPOTS from scan.co.uk
for half the price and it worked fine first time and ever since.
BTW, I've got a CLI monitoring & script runner for use with this TA at
http://www.spota.com/clipuppy - lets you call the TA and execute scripts
(like bringing your machine on-line) based on calling number.
