I am tar`ing up a load of files (2.6GIGs) and am getting the following
message:
tar: Cannot write to /usr3/bkfiles.tar: File too large
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
The tar was just running through a file which is 1.1GIG. Forgive me
ignorance on this one folks, I don`t usually tar up 2.6 gigs. Can anyone
tell me if there is a limit or is there something I am doing wrong here?
rgds,
/Brian
