I'm trying to get a few boxes to authenticate off a Redhat 5.1 machine
but I'm stumped. I followed the directions in the NIS howto, and on the
NIS website, changing PAM etc but I still can't login to other boxes
with the password defined on the NIS server.
What I can do is change the password on the server with yppasswd, but
logins still use the old password the user originally had on the box.
Does anyone know of any good trouble-shooting NIS online docs?
Oh, the other machines on the network are RH 5.2, and 6.1 boxes.. isn't
there an issue with glibc on those talking to libc services on the RH
5.1 box?
