I tried it too.
I found the graphics in q3test1 to be very childish and didn't look
anywhere near as good as Q2, the graphics in q3test2 are better but..
The animations on the rockets are very nice though, and I played a net
game for a few minutes over a 56k modem and it rocked! Hardly any lag at
all! Although my z and x keys got stuck (use 'em for side stepping) when
I pressed CTRL for fire at the same time..
If TE would reduce the cost of phone calls and line rental I might even
buy Q3..
