no.. just share out /home. clients can then mount /home or any point
under it.
also, autofs: you can centralise the mount maps via your nis server.
Much handier. Just use a wildcard for the /home key. (although there
won't be any perf. difference between mounting /home or just /home/user)
amd/am-utils seems more powerful, but uses totally weird incompatible
with automount syntax. yuk.
