Are you using the registered version of the OSS sound proggy that came
with SuSE 6.3 (the boxed set)?

I have a Yamaha-based sound card on this Toshiba, and I had to drop to
hand-config so that OSS would *not* probe IRQ 15 on my box -- otherwise
the sound is great!
