I've heard very good things about W2K as well. It's the old story of
competition benefitting the consumer :)
Anyway, even if W2K proves to be more reliable etc than Linux and the
rest of the Unix crowd, most of us will agree that for us the choice of
OS lends itself to the way we work, and the enjoyment (or not) that we
get out of work.
I remember happy days blasting away in Turbo C in DOS, but now I do
everything in Vi.. (Then again I don't do any C/C++ coding anymore!)
Use the best tool at hand and/or what you enjoy using if you can.
